So you want to know who we are? At this moment, we're two accomplished professional women who are co-writing romantic suspense. Why do this when our days are already filled with work, family, friends, and regular household stuff? Oh, and don't forget the traveling! Because we need to do it. Want to, yes, but without writing, both of us feel we lack something in our lives. It's fun! It's humorous! It's a pain in the @#$ when your characters don't do what you want. But hey, it's life. And if life can't be predictable, why should characters who mimic life be? So look around and get to know us.

Why on earth is there a lamppost on your site, and what the heck does it mean?

Funny story that, or we think so, you probably won't agree. But we'll tell you anyway. You don't have to laugh. We were in New Orleans in April 2005 with a mutual friend, discussing various plot snarls in one of our manuscripts. It wasn't going well, unsnarling this plot point, so we started talking about a story set in New Orleans pre-Louisiana Purchase. Honestly we don't remember how, but the running joke, now, is that next to every damn lamppost in whatever city you chose, there's a new plot. Hey!
